Who else would be aw...Of course it doesn't!!!! Who else would be awful and silly with me? LOL (and I know, right? They'll never know the joy of a mixed tape....:SIGH:)Heather's Home (aka Chez Hez)https://www.blogger.com/profile/15476878381130932951noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6845918212164880740.post-62636491089090661112013-01-10T10:50:47.967-08:002013-01-10T10:50:47.967-08:00I hope email doesn't figure into this ;) Love ...I hope email doesn't figure into this ;) Love your analogy with recording songs off the radio. (It makes me sad that people younger than me will most likely have never experienced making radio mixtapes.)Candicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11163681670149896246noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6845918212164880740.post-66727213317750083522013-01-09T18:50:38.923-08:002013-01-09T18:50:38.923-08:00I love finding out about new & cool things, to...I love finding out about new & cool things, too! If I hadn't, I'd never have made my way to your blog nor some of the other awesome women that I follow here, too.

But I think for me it's winnowing out what applies and what I can accomplish versus pipe dreams. LOL I'm good at dreaming and absolute bunk at execution.

P.S. I am absolutely in love with your stairsteps. So much character with that reclaimed wood!Heather's Home (aka Chez Hez)https://www.blogger.com/profile/15476878381130932951noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6845918212164880740.post-68645556245236752752013-01-09T18:48:57.523-08:002013-01-09T18:48:57.523-08:00I love your brain.
I do get that 'what am I ...I love your brain.

I do get that 'what am I missing' feeling when I don't 'tune in' as it were, but I always find that I use up my time wisely even if it's picking up around the house or folding that load of laundry that's been staring at me for two days, ya know? It's that whole give/take, yin-yang thing....balance.

I'll get better with some practice, I'm sure.

Thanks for weighing in, twinnie. :)Heather's Home (aka Chez Hez)https://www.blogger.com/profile/15476878381130932951noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6845918212164880740.post-34133313468077683452013-01-09T11:18:46.579-08:002013-01-09T11:18:46.579-08:00I've really been thinking about this question ...I've really been thinking about this question since the holidays. I'm close to having a plan figured out. It's the biggest non-productive procrastination method I've got going, and I really want to make changes. It's hard, because it's how I find out about so many cool things. But that's static, isn't it--when there's so much noise you can't hear the few things you might really need to hear. Let me know if you find the secret to it all. :-)Ritahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04227597091783239454noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6845918212164880740.post-83955140721502111792013-01-09T10:40:15.670-08:002013-01-09T10:40:15.670-08:00There are so many places to spend time, waste time...There are so many places to spend time, waste time, demolish time. I've called a good number of them "that one social media too many." Downsizing can be difficult. There's always that moment of wondering "what am I missing?" But it doesn't last too long, fortunately, and fades into the background.

It's always seemed to me like we ought to grab things while we can, and we do. Then they serve their purpose and it's time to let them go. The world at large doesn't really give a care about how many places we play or accounts we have or even about any accomplishments we might enjoy. To me, having a small handful of outlets is great. It's still important to get the support we need from the people we love, but we don't always have to keep jumping to the next ship and the next to find it.

Sometimes, downtime and silence are just as good as finally finding that clear no-static station.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
