And if there ever comes...I love your take on this. And if there ever comes a day when I'm that at peace with myself, I might hire a skywriter. Just saying. ;)Heather's Home (aka Chez Hez)https://www.blogger.com/profile/15476878381130932951noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6845918212164880740.post-44595768585013684062012-10-12T15:44:12.318-07:002012-10-12T15:44:12.318-07:00I think this means that everyone has a "super...I think this means that everyone has a "superpower", and when we nurture our superpowers, we become the kind of person that others want to emulate. We all know someone who is so... free. Not like TMI free, but confident and at peace with themselves. They knew who they were and were not only OK with that, but embraced it.

It's not that we fear that we are inadequate (as the quote says), but that we fear our inadequacies instead of accepting and making peace with them (as the quote means).

That acceptance is NOT the same as ignoring or excusing our flaws; we simply realize where the flaws lie and then love them. Then we are free to devote our energy to developing our superpowers instead of compensating for our "flaws." That energy can now be devoted to more productive pursuits -like superpowers.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05662338031868310885noreply@blogger.com
